Rad Link (RL910) is a complete network monitoring software coded in VB which runs on windows platform. It is developed primarily to log dose rate,RTC, alarm status, alarm preset level and other fault diagnostic information on continuous basis. It is developed to work on RS485 network and is MODBUS compliant. This software has provision for connecting Area Gamma Monitors up to a maximum of 100 nos.

The main screen of the RadLink is shown below . Which indicates the network status form and a control planel. The control panel is located to the left of the screen on to the right are individual display windows which show up the alarm status of the respective AGMs. These windows report the dose rate, alarm status for a set of 12 monitors in one screen. It allows the user to remotely Acknowledge or Reset the AGMs . To navigate to the next set of 12 monitors connected to the network one can click on the respective button in the control panel and the Rad Link ,shows the group of AGMs relating to that group.

One can configure Rad Link to connect the AGMs to any of the COM ports available in the computer by clicking on the Configure Com Port button in the toolbar provided on the main screen and by entering /selecting appropriate values in the window that is to be displayed as follows.

Station Settings Window shows the screen that allow the user to connect an AGM to the network or change the preset level of an AGM connected to the network. The user can do so by entering appropriate values into the respective fields.

User can see the acquisition details of the AGMs in the network by clicking on the View All Stations button in the above screen. And a screen showing up the acquisition details of the AGMs is displayed as below
