Beta dose rate meter type RM706 developed & manufactured by NUCLEONIX SYSTEMS uses state-of-art electronic devices. It uses 1” dia plastic scintillator coupled to 1” PMT as the Beta Scintillation Probe.
Entire electronics is built-in on a single PCB contains circuits to provide HV to detector probe, convert and count the scintillation pulses into micro-controller. Embedded code provides required user interface/soft functions for the instrument operation.
Instrument can measure the Beta dose rate in Rad/h and countrate in CPS/CPM. |
