RADIATION SURVEY METERS
Radiation Survey Meters are general class of hand held, battery powered, portable meters used to measure leakage radiation levels from various therapy machines such as Cobalt Therapy machine, Brachytherapy machine, or to check for leakages from other sealed sources. Radiation survey meter with 1.0 meter telepole facilitates one to check for leakage radiation level at 1.0 meter from the packed transportation case of a radio-nuclide meant for shipment.
These meters are designed to show up in both Roentgen (R) or Sievert (Sv) units. Some of the meters are designed with preset alarm facility. CPS & CPM modes of measurement, also have been provided in some of these models.
